REPORT NARRATIVE:
Council Members Constantine and Librers, serving as the RDCS Update Working Group Chair and Vice-Chair, along with staff, will provide the City Council with a progress report on the sixth meeting of the Residential Development Control System (RDCS) Update Working Group, which took place on the morning of July 22, 2015. This progress report will also cover the seventh Working Group meeting, which will take place on the morning of August 5th. Following a summary of the Working Group's activities, the City Council will have an opportunity to provide input on the Working Group's discussion and/or decisions made at their meeting.

The main topics discussed at the sixth Working Group meeting were:
* Design issues and the RDCS
* RDCS points and weighting
* Sequence of allotment and entitlement approvals

The seventh meeting will provide the Working Group with an opportunity to review and discuss the Working Draft of the RDCS.

Attached for reference is an updated schedule of the remaining RDCS Update tasks and Working Group meetings. The updated schedule shows the previously added Working Group meetings and the dates for City Council and Planning Commission ...
