BODY
REPORT NARRATIVE:
On February 18, 2015 and February 25, 2015 respectively, the Successor Agency and the Oversight Board approved a $25,000 contract for legal services with Burke, Williams and Sorensen. The services of Burke, Williams and Sorenson were used to assist with title cleanup as well as preparation of transactional documents related to the sale and assignment of certain Downtown real estate assets owned by the former Morgan Hill Redevelopment Agency consistent with the Long Range Property Management Plan (LRPMP). This amendment requests an additional $85,000 be added to the contract. The contract will provide the Successor Agency with services from document preparation to sale execution for the 50 So. First Street duplex (Site 1a), as well as the sale of Site 1 (Granada Theatre, Downtown Mall and related parking lots).

Due to meeting schedule and timing, this item was already presented to and approved by the Oversight Board, subject to Successor Agency action on August 5. Funds from RPTTF will be used to pay for services up to $25,000, with $60,000 allocated from bond proceeds, consistent with the approved FY 15/16A Recognized Obligation Payment Schedule (ROPS - line 132).
