RECOMMENDATION
Waive the Reading, Adopt Ordinance No. 2150 New Series, and Declare that said Title, which appears on the Agenda, shall be determined to have been read by Title and further reading waived.

REPORT NARRATIVE:
On July 15, 2015, the City Council Introduced Ordinance No. 2150 New Series, by the Following Roll Call Vote: AYES: Carr, Constantine, Siebert, Tate; NOES: None; ABSTAIN: None; ABSENT: Librers.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: Inform
City staff will work to inform contractors and bidders of the new requirements related to public bids with the City, should this item be approved by Council, and would begin work to otherwise implement the ordinance once it becomes effective. The new procedures will also provide a more formal way for local contractors to receive bids with the City via the maintenance of the formal list of qualified contractors.

PRIOR CITY COUNCIL AND COMMISSION ACTIONS:
No previous Council action has occurred relating to this item.

FISCAL AND RESOURCE IMPACT:
It is anticipated that the Community Services Department and Public Works Department will see a reduction of staff time necessary to manage projects utilizing the UPCCAA.
