TARANTULA NAMING AND COLORING CONTEST FINALIZATION

 

RECOMMENDATION

That the Commission provide staff direction on:

1)                     Council involvement in the contest;

2)                     Coordination in announcing winners of the contest; and

3)                     Confirmation of selection of winning name.

REPORT NARRATIVE:

The Commission held a special meeting on July 19th to select the contest winners for the Tarantula naming contest.  Minutes for this meeting are available as Item 2 on this agenda. This item is to help staff clarify and move forward with the next steps.
