Adopt resolution appointing Donald A. Larkin, City Attorney, to represent the City of Morgan Hill on the ABAG PLAN Corporation Board of Directors.

REPORT NARRATIVE:
The City of Morgan Hill has been a member agency of the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) PLAN Corporation since 1986. ABAG PLAN Corporation provides the City with general liability insurance, excess liability insurance, public official bond, and property insurance.
On May 1, 2013, the City Council appointed Renee Gurza, City Attorney, to represent the City of Morgan Hill on the ABAG PLAN Corporation Board of Directors. Ms. Gurza resigned as City Attorney effective December 2, 2015. Donald A. Larkin was appointed City Attorney on May 4, 2016. It is recommended that Donald A. Larkin, City Attorney, be appointed as a Director to represent the City of Morgan Hill on the ABAG PLAN Board of Directors. Shadia Hrichi, Risk Management Analyst, will remain as a Voting Alternative Director to represent the City of Morgan Hill on the ABAG PLAN Board of Directors.

On May 1, 2013, the City Council appointed Renee Gurza, City Attorney, to represent the City of Morgan Hill on the ABAG PLAN Corporation Board of Directors. On March 18, 2015, the City Council appointed the Risk Management Analyst to represent the City of Morgan Hill on the ABAG PLAN Corporation Board of Directors as a Voting Alternate Director.
