 Friends Activities

 

                     Science Fiction book sale was minimally successful. Still had boxes of books left over.

 

                     The City Council approved the library expansion design contract. Weston Miles has been selected as the architects. Project should commence this month.

 

                     Speakers Forum will be held on September 14. See flyer attached.

 

                     Ric Smith has been selected as our honoree for the Philanthropy dinner on November 4th.

 

                     Next big book sale is on November 5th.

 

 

 

Speakers Forum with Author Dr. Francisco Jiménez   

     

Wednesday, September 14, 2016 Morgan Hill Library, Program Room, 7pm Dr. Jiménez will discuss "Taking Hold: From Migrant Childhood to Columbia University", the fourth book in his award-winning memoir series. His works have an international readership from adults to students and have inspired many to explore their cultural heritage.  Currently, Dr. Jiménez is Professor Emeritus at Santa Clara University
