RECOMMENDATION

BODY
COUNCIL PRIORITIES, GOALS & STRATEGIES:

Ongoing Priorities
Maintaining fiscal responsibility

REPORT NARRATIVE:
The City has contracted with Burr Plumbing and Pumping, Inc. for on-call plumbing services since November 2015. The attached First Amendment is adding grease interceptor cleaning and pumping services, to the potential services listed in Exhibit B of the on-call plumbing services contract. The term of the agreement is unchanged and remains in effect until June 30, 2018. The total agreement amount is unchanged at $75,000.

The sole purpose of this agenda item is to add pumping and cleaning of the grease trap interceptors and associated pricing, to the services that may be performed by Burr Plumbing and Pumping, Inc's per its on-call plumbing maintenance service agreement.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: Not Applicable

ALTERNATIVE ACTIONS:

PRIOR CITY COUNCIL AND COMMISSION ACTIONS:
The Council approved the Original Maintenance Services Agreement with Burr Plumbing and Pumping, Inc. on November 4, 2015.

FISCAL AND RESOURCE IMPACT:
The recommended action does not increase the total amount of the agreement, and therefore no budget adjustment is required because the City's adopted budget for Building Maintenance, Park Maintenance and Street Maintenance has included funding for this work.
